1. Acceptance
By creating an account you accept these terms in full. Continued use after posted updates constitutes acceptance. 30-day advance notice is required before any material change takes effect.
2. Service Description
The platform aggregates municipal permit data classified as public record under the BC Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). Data accuracy is not guaranteed.
3. Subscription Tiers
Homeowner (Free): Browse permits, create Project Briefs.
Project Brief ($29.99 CAD one-time): Unlock full Project Brief features for a single project.
Applicant Pro ($19 CAD/month or $149 CAD/year): Inspection Sequence Tracker with SMS alerts, permit expiry alerts, Deficiency Notice Translation, and Bid Analytics.
Handyman ($29.99 CAD/month): Handyman lead access and quoting.
Free Profile ($0): Claim your contractor profile from public permit data. View-only access.
Trade ($79 CAD/month): Scored Lead Cards, 30 Connection Requests per month, CRM webhook (via Zapier), SMS + email + in-app alerts. Subscribers may pause their subscription for up to two (2) calendar months per subscription year at no charge; alerts and connections are suspended during pause. Connection Overage Packs are available at $30 CAD per 10 additional connections, consumed FIFO, expiring 90 days from purchase.
VIP ($249 CAD/month): All Trade features plus unlimited connections, Draft Permit and Rezoning visibility, Demand Heatmaps, Market Intelligence, CSV/API data export, and ERP webhook integration.
Contractor Bid Boost ($29 CAD per draft permit): Top-3 bid placement on a specific draft permit. Quality gate applies: archetype affinity score of at least 0.5, valid BCHousing licence, and at least two similar completed projects required.
4. Subscription Pause
Trade subscribers may pause their subscription for up to two (2) calendar months per twelve-month subscription period. During a pause: (a) no subscription fees are charged; (b) all alerts, lead card delivery, and connection request submissions are suspended; (c) existing connections remain accessible. A pause request takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Unused pause months do not carry over between subscription years.
5. Prohibited Use
Redistribution, scraping, contact misuse, data aggregation, coefficient extraction, account sharing, and webhook data piping are all prohibited.
6. Enforcement and Remedy
Trade ($79 CAD/mo): 12 months of subscription fees per incident, or $2,500 CAD, whichever is greater.
VIP ($249 CAD/mo): 12 months of subscription fees per incident, or $5,000 CAD, whichever is greater.
7. VIP Confidentiality Obligation
Draft Permit data is non-public, user-generated data. VIP subscribers must not disclose Draft Permit details to third parties.
8. Platform Availability
No uptime SLA is guaranteed. The platform is not liable for missed bid windows or losses from unavailability.
9. Limitation of Liability
Liability is capped at three months of subscription fees paid in the preceding period.
10. Dispute Resolution
30 days written notice required before any claim. Disputes proceed to binding arbitration under BC Arbitration Act rules.
11. International Access Restriction
This service is intended for users located in Canada. EU/EEA/UK users cannot create accounts.
12. Data Processing — Webhook Integration
Subscribers with CRM webhook integrations acknowledge that permit and contact data will be transmitted to their configured endpoints. Webhook delivery logs are retained for 13 months. HMAC-SHA256 signature verification is applied to all outbound webhook payloads.
13. Connection Overage Packs
Trade subscribers who exhaust their 30-connection monthly quota may purchase Connection Overage Packs ($30 CAD per 10 connections). Overage connections are consumed in FIFO order and expire 90 days from purchase. Unused overage connections are non-refundable.
